Radiology Reports from 6/2/08 CT and MRI

The following is a brief snippit from each of the reports:

CT: "...The overall size of the mass is slightly smaller...There is no erosion or destruction of the cribriform plate (italics added)...there is some bony destruction of the posterior aspect of the left hard palate and the left medial pterygoid [yeah, go ahead and pronounce that one! ;-)] plate which is unchanged. There is no new bony destruction."

MRI: "..The lobulated left maxillary mass has diminished in size since the prior examination (3/17/08)...The mass no longer extends to be anterior cranial fossa floor. Therefore, there is no evidence that would suggest cranial fossa floor involvment or cribriform plate involvement..."

So there you have a little bit of the good news we feel we have read today! We haven't seen the doctor yet this week, only been to the clinic for labs, and those levels continue to be good. However, I requested the Radiology reports today because I wanted to have them. I found out I can get a CD with the actual scans on them, too. I just need to go request them. Those will be interesting to see side by side!

It is so amazing how blessed Shayla has been through all this! We truly know our Heavenly Father is watching out for Shayla. Boy, that is one huge understatement!

Tomorrow is the BIG YARD SALE weekend. There has been so much donated to the cause we can't help but be successful. (so come shop if you are in the area!) People here in the area are GOOD people! We are blessed to be in the right place at the right time.
